Colcestrian Futures is the Old Colcestrian Society’s own social network, enabling Colchester Royal Grammar School students and members of the Old Colcestrian Society to access our network of members and their contacts.
The purpose is to create connections that enable OCS members at universities and in a wide range of careers to answer questions and provide advice to CRGS students and younger members who are transitioning from school to university and into the world of work.
Specific career avenues can be discussed with experts and advice provided on university and job applications, CVs and interviews. Work experience and internships can also be arranged via Colcestrian Futures, and jobs advertised.
The Colcestrian Futures website caters for informal online discussions between those involved in or interested in specific areas of employment as well as universities, and for private messaging on these issues between individuals.
Following registration, this site can be accessed by all members of the Old Colcestrian Society and CRGS students. CRGS students will be notified by year group via the school when they are eligible to access the site.
